Gives advice and information about all aspects of pensions. You can also call the national helpline on 0845 6012 923. 4. Pension Credit - A state benefit which you may be able to claim if you are over 60 years of age. You can call the Pension Credit application line on 0800 99 1234. 5. Pensions Ombudsman - investigates complaints and disputes about how pension schemes are operated. 6. Pension Service - Part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). It has a network of pensions centres around the country.
