To make a claim, telephone 0800 0 55 66 88, or click this link. If you've been made redundant, you should make an appointment at Jobcentre Plus as soon as possible after you've left your job. This is important even if your employer will be giving you redundancy pay. If you don't apply for benefits immediately, you can lose your entitlement.
